Default 67 L-78 ALTERNATOR PULLY

IS THERE A DIFFERENCE IN THE 67 Z-28 PULLY AND THE 67 L-78 PULLY? HERE IS WHAT I HAVE. MACNEISH'S BOOK SHOWS THIS AS THE Z28 PULLY?

Yes there is a difference. One pulley is the AI, the other is the AK. I believe the AK pulley is the L78.

3844100-AK is the correct one for L78

Hi, The AK pulley is 3.2" in dia. where as the AI pulley is approx. 3.6" in dia. If I can figure out this camera of mine I'll take a picture of one and try to post it. Rob.

There is also not a 100% of proof that either one is wrong its like the fan im in beleave it depends on the build month of the car no real data on the 04 05 build dated cars
