I used a reproduction for a 1970 Chevelle from Right Stuff detailing, and I was happy with it. Not sure if they carry the '69 master cylinder or not?
Edit: Looks like this is the '69 master from Right Stuff: http://www.jegs.com/i/Right-Stuff/965/DBMC11/10002/-1 Last edited by novadude; 10-30-2017 at 02:18 PM. |

I cannot speak for Napa....but if you order from Ground Up, The Parts Place, Inline Tube, Right Stuff, OPGI....they all come from the same manufacturer.
They had a bad batch of them a six months ago.....I went through a half dozen of them. They do stand behind their products....as they kept sending me a new master after each one failed. I have an entire shelf of them....as they did not want them back. Dan

I got a correct rebuilt 69 master cylinder from O'Reilly's. Only difference was the machined pad on the front was not milled where the BA would go for a chevelle.

I used to think that all reproduction master cylinders came from the same place (MBM), but now I am not so sure. |

If you still have the original master, go to Napa and get a rebuild kit. Not hard to do yourself...

Unless it needs to be re-sleeved.Then I would send the whole thing out to be professionally re-sleeved/rebuilt.
