Default Monaco Orange LS6

Neat car, hard to beat an LS6 in Orange.

What are your thoughts on the deck stamp? I was under the impression that 1970 Kansas Chevelles had the partial VIN stamped upside down.

Some interesting statements made in the auction description, such as "Without a build sheet or Protecto Plate, all we can say is that this is the most incredibly restored SS Chevelle believed to be the best recreated LS6 out there."

Interesting.

Are you talking about the Dash Vin # (upside down) or the Eng Block Deck Stamp ??

Any known history or stories on this recreated LS-6

One statement says; "believed to be the best recreated LS6 out there." And later in the description it says; "we believe is a real 454 LS6".

Well which is it? lol

I also think the trim tag appears like a crisp repop tag. Nice looking car but doubt it's legit in my view?

As Rick already noted, definitely not legit with an 11A build date.

I would get a NCRS report and see if it was actually sold at Holtz motors in Hales Corners, Wisconsin.
