Wow, I don't even remember hearing about this accident back then. We had just bought and moved into our second house - which was about 4 miles away from Oswego drag strip - at that time, so that's probably why I don't remember it. I'm kinda surprised that Jenkins would even race at Oswego at this time, because the track had really started to go downhill by then.

I was thinking the same Bill.
Imagine they paid him pretty well to show up & race others.
