Hi guys can someone tell me what is the correct pcv valve for 68 z28.

Chevrolet saw it as #6484525
AC saw it as #CV746C. Both 1968 & 1969 Z/28's came with it. |

Original 1969 Chevrolet Parts Counter Book dated 1968.
Are you sure he said CV736C? 1967 Z/28 shows CV726C,1968-69 Z/28 CV746C,so I would think one of those two. Last edited by Mr70; 11-08-2018 at 12:44 PM. |

Here's a link some pics of an original Z. Page 11 shows the CV746 pcv. Though, I think the early originals were machined not stamped. |

Here is my as found 746C on my Dec Los Build. I suppose it could have been changed out over the years, as in the Machined -vs- stamped formed versions. As an additional comment or question, Can these things be cosmetically restored via a cold brite zinc plating process w/o detrimental affects to the check valve ball inside?
