Default A 67 SS "Survivor" says Joe

One thing for sure.. those Optional D-96 Stripes were hideous!!! I prefer the STANDARD Stripe on bottom of a 67 SS

What exactly is a "Holley single jet"? Whatever it was, he says a Q-jet was installed in its place. Were the 350 HP 396's equipped with a Holley from the factory? I thought only the L78's got these.

----1967 350hp Chevelle's were delivered with single "FEED" 650 Holley's. Don't know if that's what he meant. I bought one new with the disliked stripes off the floor of a Chevy dealer in Lancaster Ohio...…..Bill S

Very interesting car! I never liked those optional stripes either.
In '67 I didn't think the the standard SS stripes were cool, I peeled them off my red SS the day after I brought it home.

Cool car and I like it all but the stripes too.

The D96 Stripes on our Canadian '67 Beaumonts looked better as pic below.
Here's to Joe and his Vietnam buddies!!!
