Does anyone know anything about Marcy Chevrolet Geneva Ohio? Dealer code 386 zone 13
That was my shipping report says but I looked up 386 zone 13 and it says Rudy Haupt johnstown pa which makes more since thats about 30 miles from me? So a bit confused where the car sold? The car is a 1970.

Marcy Chev was in Zone # 28 so you're correct, Zone #13 Dealer #386 is Rudy Haupt in Johnstown PA.

I live about 10 miles from the old Marcy chev.it,s been closed for along time.In 1969 I looked a new cortez silver z28 in their show room but bought a chevelle instead. The chevelle was from Callender chev in Ashtabula Oh. dealer code 28076.

Cameron and Kent were the children of the dealer principle. Marcy's opened in the late teens and was one of the first dealerships in North East Ohio. Dealer trades was a common practice for the Marcy family. My 1973 Z/28 came from Marcy's

I have both dealers in my database with the same zone and code. Now, we know; 2 dealers could not have the same zone and code at the same time. Looks like Rudy Haupt’s was established in late 68 early 69 based on original ads. Marcy does show later ads. I believe NCRS data used 2 different dates to establish dealers. Looks like they chose the latter date for your zone and code. I would say based on fact that you car came from Rudy’s.
