Nice car with cool colors and evidently the original drivetrain, although the seller didn't post the stamps in the auction (but offered to text pics to interested buyers).
I'm thinking $70k is close to all the money for a '70 Z in this market - and this is one of those cars I'd love to own if the market cools a bit. I had a '70 SS years ago that was a total blast to drive, and a pretty good handler compared to the first-gen cars. Link to 1970 RS/Z auction ![]() ![]() ![]() 124780N577499 |

Nice, but I'd be surprised if it brought 70k. 50k, maybe.

What are the opinions as to whether the Nickey name brings in extra value? It's not like it looks to be tuned by Nickey. I mean its kind of cool, but does it make it more valuable? I guess to the right person it might.

The name wouldn't add anything for me if I were a buyer. That is a real nice car though but, seems to be priced kind of high in my opinion.

The name NICKEY would for me,only because I grew up with them & live here.
Would think other buyers nearby might feel the same way, while others further away may not. |

Nice car but with a 70K price , I would expect correct passenger fender, and jack cover.

I think the dealer "names" would be a factor if you were choosing between two cars, basically the same, then the one with the well known dealer name would be the one I would choose. Put another way, some value to me, but not enough to say choose a car that was not as nice as another one.

This car was put together by a friend of mine. If any one is really interested in it please reach out to me first. I do know some facts on the car. He sold the car a couple years ago for $35,000.

Nice car, but priced high IMO.
I'm really digging the second gen cars and have been keeping an eye on them for a while.
