Just a 318 car with no performance options, but it's interesting to see them in unmodified condition 50 years later.
The white on green combo seemed pretty popular on the 1970s Mopars - used to see a bunch of them trimmed this way in Wisconsin when I was a kid (1980s). This particular car spent most of its life in NE...one of the reasons the body survived so well. Link to 1970 Coronet auction ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() WH23G0G108644 |

Kinda hard to read the window sticker upside down, but I think I see Rallye Suspension listed among the options. I also see heavy duty brakes.....never heard of anything like that before, unless it means front disc brakes??

Turned my computer screen upside down to read the dealership invoice.....this had to be a special ordered car with the options it has. I doubt that "Heavy duty brakes" meant disc brakes, because it was only a $22.65 option. "Steering wheel, sport type" is also listed on there as a $26.75 option......probably the fake wood grain plastic. A nice set of wheels would make this car look much better, even though I'm not a fan of the 70 Coronet models. Interesting car.

Totally agree...a little cleanup and some cool wheels would set this one apart.
