Default Source for '66 & '67 L78 Chrome Valve Covers

I've been searching for correct parts for a 396 L78 rebuild project. I had an original (new to me) '67 Chevelle SS 396 L78 (1 of the 612 made in '67). I want to find chrome valve covers that have the "proper stem placement" for the passenger side plug wires for the 2 front cylinders. Every repro set of valve covers I have found have the stem welded onto the passenger side chrome valve cover "beneath the breather opening" NOT just behind the the oil fill cap hole & mid-way on the cover.

I believe some of you know what I am talking about. There is a lot of ignorance about this little detail I assure you. Not one supplier source that I have spoken with that sells BBC parts knows what I am talking about..."yet" anyway.

I can try to post a photo if that helps.

Regarding the driver side valve cover: My '67 Chevelle SS just had the drum brakes, but I believe even if it had power discs the driver side chrome valve cover wouldn't have to have the slanted cover at the rear to provide clearance for the brake booster...there's more room in the engine bay of a Chevelle than a Corvette (where you see the slanted cover more often).

Anyway, if anyone knows where I can source a proper repro for a '66 or '67 L78 passenger side chrome valve cover with proper stem placement, please let me know.

Many thanks,

John
