Default Hummer EV

I just saw the commercial on the new EV . The specs on that truck is amazing 0-60 3 sec, 1000hp. The commercial production was amazing and clearly defines all the key features. Well done, and the bar has been set damn high!!! I know Tesla and another company have planned intrductions but it's nice to see GMbe first and nail it.

I'd like to see GM promote the Camaro with the same energy, resources and focus.

Good topic! I just posted an article about it in the GM EV thread:

I dig it. Nuts power, crabwalk is fun, and just the concept of an EV with the roof off on a forest road or through the desert sounds like a brilliant, refreshing way to explore.

Yeah, at least for the first editions. Guessing it’s the only way GM could make any sort of money back in the first few years (the way Tesla started at the top of the market), and likely why there isn’t an equivalent Jeep yet (even harder to justify a Jeep at that price versus a revived brand)...

Looks like Edition 1 (the one in the ad) is $112k.

Other models to come, Starting at $79,995.

Still, pretty impressive. I can't see Tesla rolling out anything comparable for anywhere near that price.
