I can't stand the term "Rat Rod" but at least it looks relatively easy to restore. I don't think this one is going to convince anyone here that it was a recent barn find....
Still unbelievable to me that patina is so coveted that it's actually cleared over, or even faked on some builds. This was every car I owned back in the day...but only because I could never afford to paint them. Link to 1967 Coronet R/T auction WS23L77206702 |

Preserving an original car, means just that... keeping it in a dry place and preserving it's originality, especially the faded original finish. Polish it, if you like, but once it's been cleared over it's no longer original.
