Default Cowl induction seal glue?

Anyone have any luck gluing a cowl induction seal back together? If so, what did you use? Thanks, Troy

Yes, this had the cloth tape but what was left of it has fallen off. It was also glued, and it came apart when I took it off the flange. I'm guessing a reproduction, but I hate to buy one if I can repair this one. Maybe black weatherstrip adhesive? Can the cloth tape be bought? I guess I'm just cheap when it comes to certain things.

Black Gaffers Tape, I think the AMK black masking tape is not H.D. for underhood use
