Default Motion conversion(?) for sale

I just found this one on eBAY:

One of the "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder" Vette's..hehe...I'd be happy just to have the valve covers.

Default Re: Motion conversion(?) for sale

Thanks for the ebay post. That is the Corvette Maco Shark body designed by John Silva who had a shop in Salem, Mass. There is an article in Cars Magazine Feb. 1971 that states Silva based the car on the Chevrolet Maco Shark show car and Chevy let him use the name. Silva did the body modification on new or used Corvettes and had an arangement with Motion to perform the mechanical modifications and help with marketing. The Cars article was done in 1971 so I do not know if Silva was involved with this ebay car since the ad states that this car was converted in 1975.
