Did any one else pick up the latest new magazine at the news stand called Chevy Rumble? I did and it features a questionable article on a WHITE YENKO owned by a guy named "Licko". Am I missing something here? As best as I can recall White was not a color for any of Don's Camaros from Cannonsburg in 1969. This same magazine features coverage of the fall Chevy Vettefest (featuring our supercars) but virtually ignores the presence of the supercars in atendance in the text of the article. Larry's ZL-1 which won best restored was not even mentioned at all!

Mark:
The white Yenko Camaro was brought up a few months ago, in this thread: https://www.yenko.net/ubb/Forum1/HTML/000429.html I think everyone decided the car WAS NOT a real Yenko car. As for the magazine, I STILL haven't saw it yet (not surprising here in "the sticks"), but am on the look out. Did you go to the Factory Stock Drags out your way? I had planned on it, but the wife put a big ole' VETO on the idea. [Edited by Chevy454 (07-15-2001 at 08:38 AM).] |

Mark,
Looks like they could re-name it Chevy Fumble. Real shame that they over looked the significance of the Yenkos and COPO's at the Vettefest. It was quite a show. |

Yes we printed that where I work and was Questioning the White. The pictures are not the best that we had to work with.
