North American Super Sports car club had a member in the early '80s with a Black '69 Yenko Chevelle but.........the answer is no, never did black.

By the way Nick, send me your mailing address to my e-mail. I have some pictures of a certain '69 Chevelle I talked you out of if you would like them.

I can't remember if is was at an SCS show in Indy or Maple Grove but there was a guy racing an original Yenko Chevelle and it was black. Originally the car was Fathom Green and he did not like that color so he painted it black. There was another Yenko Chevelle there that was racing but all I remember it that it had slot mags and a rollbar, either Butternut Yellow or Daytona Yellow. Not sure if it was real but this was before any of the repro decals or emblems were available, sometime 1986-88.............RatPack.............
