Default Possible COPO around B'ham AL

Does anyone know of a daytona yellow copo in or around Birmingham AL ? I was there about a year ago and picked up the local auto trader there was a 69 camaro guy owned for 25 yrs pic looked liked still had small letter Goodyears on it 427 4spd daytona yellow 12 bolt had no stripes and had bowtie emblem. I called about 10 times left a message saying call by the time I talked to the guy he had sold it. Anyone know about this car?

You said he sold it, do you know if it stayed in the Birmingham area, that's where I'm at. If it's still here, maybe we can track it down. See if new owner is tired of it yet.

This is kind of an odd coincidence. I ran into a guy on the LS1.com board that was from Alabama that knew of a Yellow COPO car that was at the track recently. It wasn't a race car, said it looked stock, but he never did get the owners name. Same car...maybe?

The car stayed in the b'ham area as far as I know the asking price was only 10,000 so I am wondering if the guy even knows what he has
