Legendary Motorcars is up near Toronto in Canada. They are the restorer featured several days a week on Speedvision's Dream Car Garage. The owner races regularly and is very much a musclecar enthusiast and the shop appears to deal pretty much exclusively with #1 cars. With the advantageous exchange rate, their prices would seem pretty good to us.

They just ran some Cars at the Mecum Saint Charles Chevy & Vetts Auction, this past weekend. The cars which I have personally seen have been ,just as represented.
The quality of their restorations is also outstanding, in my opinion. |

Peter does nice work. Would'nt be scared to look at anything he has for sale. I'd still want to see paperwork, no matter who it is!

They seem to be a very legitimate dealer and restoration company and I have not heard of anything bad about them. If it is the Carolina Blue car you are talking about, that was a special order color as listed on the build sheet. However, I thought that car was $39K, must be another one.
I have looked at least 2 dozen LS-6's in the past month and have to say, there are A LOT of junk and fakes out there. Many people are passing any 70 SS454 off as a real LS-6 but few know how they can be "discovered". Bottom line is, no paperwork, it's just a 70 SS with an LS-6 installed in it. JMO

Hopefully" TARGET=_blank>http://www.legendarymotorcar.com/home.htm Hopefully</A> the link works....... Go to inventory and then 70 LS-6. Is this the same Carolina Blue car he recently had? I thought that one was a bucket seat car with documentation and he was asking $39K for it. I have the info at home to compare to. It could be confusing as it states, "equipped with a correct numbers matching 454/450 hp LS-6 engine". Makes you wonder if it it the original or not. Appears alternator may have also been replaced by the looks of the pulley. It also has SS door marquis and none of my Baltimore 454 build sheets that I have show the B-22 code. With that being said, Peter has always come across as being one of the most honest restorers out there. He certainly doesn't have to fabricate a car to make money!
