Hello all,
I bought a 63 nova SS about a year ago. The car has a 1962 macthing numbers 327. The car was setting in my friends inpound yard for 10 years when i bought it. The motor looks to have been placed thier by the factory. Is it possible that this is a Bill Thomas or Nickey nova ? Been trying to find out for sometime now. Any Help is appericiated. |

Welcome Bryan;
I'm not sure what you mean by numbers matching '62 327, are you referring to the block/heads/intake and trans dates? Is it a fuel injected 327? I believe there was a V8 installation kit that was available to the dealers, very few were installed due to the high cost.

Bryan;
That makes it a tough question, the only way to know for sure is to check prior owners for some kind of paperwork that would suggest the Bill Thomas / Nickey connection.
