Default 70 LS6 Wanted

Maybe inappropriate for this forum but Im looking to purchase a 70 LS6 Chevelle. Needs to be correct and has to be numbers matching Engine, Transmission and Rear end. Not interested in NOM car. Must have docs, i.e. build sheets, P-O-P, etc.. Prefer Cortez Silver or Shadow Grey. Not interested in Black, White or Red. Will consider other colors. Somewhat flexible on interior color. Must be 4 gear with buckets. Not interested in Automatic. Prefer center console but not a deal breaker. Not interested in convertible. Options and history a plus. I know Im not asking for much, but somebody out there knows where this car is. Im ready to buy it...SWB...

SWB,
Check with Tim Mullins. He has a green with white top LS-6, M-22 car that is very original and clean. Car was at Chevellabration last year and would make a great candidate for a restoration. Yeh it's green, but seems like that's all that's left. NOM documented with replacement receipt and engine in the car but the original block comes with as well. All bolt on engine parts are original, only the short block was changed. Car can be a buy now for $36K. Not bad for what is there.

I have a Green 70 LS6 hardtop for sale. You can see pics of it on my website www.worldwidemusclecars.com . It has a POP and build sheet. It is a 4 speed and has a bench seat(we can't have it all!) Don't pay attention to the asking price on the site, I will be flexible if you are interested. I also have a Black Cherry 70 LS6 that I am restoring. It is original driveline as well and is a M22 with buckets and 4.11 rear end. It is a ways out from being finished but just thought I would mention it.

Thanks Rick,

I looked at the car and was tempted. However, I've just restored two and now I need one to flog and then restore...SWB...

Thanks Mike,

Green with buckets and console I can handle. Silver or Grey with bench I can handle. Green with bench I can't handle, at least right now. It is a beautiful piece though. ...SWB...

SWB,
Would you mind filling out your profile so we know who you are. Not that I want to track you down but I like to know of as many LS-6 owners and their cars as I can for documentational purposes. Just nice to put a name with a face. You can also PM this confidential information to me as well. Thanks!
Rick

When you say 'I need one to flog then restore' what condition car are you looking for?

I know this may disgust the pureists, but I want a perfect, numbers matching, paint dabs and decal trinkets, done car that I can drive and enjoy the smell of money being burned in the form of race gas out the tail pipe, then re-restore or touch up and sell in a couple of years. I'm all done with the "trailer queens". ...SWB...
