I think that this was commented on a while back but how does Otis C know for sure that only 25 Yenko Camaros still retain their original drive trains?

His quote was:

"Approximately 25 Yenko Super Camaro's (SC) exist with complete, original drivetrain, and this is one of them."

First word says it all. Anyone can take a guess, who could call him a liar.

THere will be approximately 2 pages of post on this topic.

When the book came out on his collection just over 10 years ago, they tossed around a lot of "facts" like that. Look at their LS6 ragtop and it being "1 of 18".

They also introduced words to my vocabulary that were formerly reserved for the musclecar cognicenti (sp?) such as "extant" to describe cars known to exist.

I have the book "American Muscle" that shows the Otis Chandler colletcion. When I visit his site there doesn't appear to nearly as many musclecars; did he sell them off?

He sold off many of the musclecars. Several of them found their way to www.corvettes-musclecars.com.
