I have what I believe is a 427 short block...the block is dated F167...and the last three digits on the back of the block is 321...the front pad reads T07262BP ...with RH after the BP...but the RH is hot in line with the other numbers. ( I think RH is someone's initials )
....Can someone tell me what this came in? |

I know that F167 translates to the block being cast on June 16, 1967.....
...and T is for Tonowanda ...and 07 is for July ...and I think 26 means 26th day ( of July ) ...But I'm confused on the last "2" and BP....any help? |

This is an early motor for the 1968 passenger and corvette cars, first 427 to use the spin on oil cannister. Was discontinued in Jan. 68. The suffix that you gave does not show anywhere? Could it possibly IB? That is 390HP for automatic with a police application.
