Default 1969 Chevelle SS

Could you get the Std. 300 Dlx bench interior (white stripe) Rubber carpet in a Malibu Hard Top (No post) Super Sport equipped car?

The interior that you speak of only came in the 300 Deluxe cars, hardtop and post. Ours is the hardtop version. I believe that the white stripe seats only came in all vinyl and black. The cloth and vinyl seats were plain.

Stefano,
A friend of mine swears that's how his car was originally equipped. It was also a 325 HP, 3 spd. Yes, it was a Htp. with the white stripe vinyl bench and rubber mat. He still has the door panels, although not in very good shape.

He did a frame off about ten years ago and converted it to a bucket, console, 4 speed only because he couldn't find repro interior. He still has the seats, tranny and shifter and would go back in a minute if the correct material becomes available.

Dennis

Thanks Guys, I had seen it in 300 Deluxe Post Coupe but never in an SS hard top.

The only 300 Deluxe interiors I have personally seen are black, including my Post Coupe, but it appears other colors were available as seen here on a car presently for sale.

The cowl plenum setup for the Chevelles was an over the counter item in the '60s. There were some differences between the Chevelle and Camaro parts.
