good exhaust system for 1969 Camaro

What is a good crossflow muffler that will go in the stock location? I am running dual flowmasters now
and looking to go with a good single crossflow with a good sound and performance. How about a complete system for a 1969 Camaro big block? [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/dunno.gif[/img]

I had chambered exhaust on my 69 Z, and asked the guys on the board here on some opinions regarding mounting headers and building a new exhaust.

I went with a DYNOMAX X flow muffler, originally for Buick GN-X, mounts in stock location, 2 1/2" from header outlet over the axle to the muffler, and stock 2 " tips from the chambered , from the muffler and out, it is stock appearing that way, and is sounds awesome!!! It really helped my little 302, it woke up!!!!

Thanks to John F out of Indianapolis, he gave me good advises on the exhaust.

Do you have the Dynomax part number for the muffler you used? I have tried looking at Jeg's and Summitt but they both ask for a part number....thanks NEW [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/beers.gif[/img]

The part # for the muffler is 17725. It is a bit shorter than the stock muffler so you will have to have the shop custom bend the pipes leading to the muffler. Hope this helps and feel free to PM if you have specific questions.
