I bought 3 of these caps at a swap meet today. They are identical to the 69/70 Camaro/Nova caps but have no Chevy Bowtie in the center.Has anyone ever seen this style or know anything about them? Thanks, Marc

nope. those are definitely oddballs... My guess is they are either old original era aftermarket pieces, or maybe used on a Canadian or non Chevy model? I know they made some "derby" style rally wheel caps in the mid 70s with no "Chevrolet Motor Division" on them, that were used on the GMC Sprint (el Camino) That's the first thing that came to mind when i saw these...but I've never seen these earlier 68-70 caps without a bowtie... I really have no definite answer... wanna sell em? They're pretty neat!

I usually find OEM "style" caps without any markings on vintage RV's and travel trailers. I dunno if they were factory or just a cheap way to match the tow car/truck's caps.

One of the more interesting responses that I received was that they might be the Ultra rare COPO "Bowtie Delete Hubcap Option" caps. Someone has contacted me offline and has identified them as 68-71 Pontiac Beaumont (Canadian Chevelle) caps. Same stamping just no Chevy logo. Thanks, Marc
