Hi this is my first time here all I can say is WOW!!
I have a 1966 L-72 Belair it's an old drag car and used to run under the name "BRONZE HOG", I have the protect-o-plate and would know if all L-72 cars had to be ordered or is there a chance it was on the lot. The POP reads like this: F MM 156116G129672 H T1209ID D00920B C P0903 3 It was purchased at Salina Motors in Syracuse N.Y. delivery date is 1/4/66. Any info would be a great help I plan on having the car @ the syracuce nationals this summer Thanks Pat.

It is an L72 car designated by the ID suffix on the plate info but I believe the engine was an rpo for big cars and didn't require the copo process in 66 to have such an engine..

thanks for the reply, any idea on what the rest of the numbers mean? i have not found a build sheet yet, pretty sure it's not inside the car as i have redone the whole interior, will be looking under the gas tank soon as i am painting the undercarrige and installing METCO upper and lower controll arms, thanks again Pat.
