Hello to all members. I am a new member to this site. At a local car show/swap meet, in my area, I purchased a dual snorkel air breather assembly with box. This assembly is the long tapering snorkels. The box is dated 1969. The part number tag is still stuck to flap. It reads AC 1 6485257. Another tag gives the dealers name as Tom Bells Chevyland Memphis TN. This assembly includes an AC filter and appears to be unused,as does the entire assembly. <font color="black"> </font> If anyone happens to have knowledge of this part numbers application please respond. Thanks

Welcome.

There are no decals on the base of the air cleaner. The lid was held in place with four pieces of brown paper tape, for shipping, I'm guessing. The lid has a rubber seal in the channel that will seal to the base <font color="black"> </font> . Thanks for the reply.

Hello, would like to take this opportunity to thank all that have emailed me with info on the dual snorkel air cleaner assembly. When I bought it I was hopeful it would actually be correct for a 1970 L-78 Nova. According to those of you that responded, I can now proceed with installing this on my dad's Nova as a gift to him. Thanks to all that inquired of it being for sale, but I really would like to keep it.
