Would like to know were to find the Transmission code on a 1966 to 1969 Chevy Camaro Powerglide & how to determine what year the powerglide is before i purchase one.

The trans code is located on the right side of the fluid pan. My 67 has a code of T7S02D:

Is there also a code indicator for the 62--66 powerglide??If the tranny i am looking at 4 sale is Not a 67--69 ,I would like to know how to determine what year it is ! In the 62--66 year range only!!

63S have a course splined input shaft. I think you can go from 64 forward. Schonye
