"Special Performance Options" available through Motion for the '69 Nova. This sheet is similar for the other Motion supercars.

Motion Nova conversion. Vette pipes, Stinger hood w/tach, 14x6 five-spokes. It's hard to find photos of Motion Novas and Chevelles, perhaps someone else has some? My stuff is from old books and magazines.

Motion Performance was a stand-alone speed shop. If you bought a Nova--anywhere, not just at Baldwin Chevrolet--and took it to Motion they would do whatever you wanted and/or recommend what your car needed.

When I talked with a former Motion employee ('68-'72) he said when answering the phone he would say "speed costs money...how fast do you want to go"....that's tells me they did as little or as much as the cutomer wanted.

What vette, 68? I take it that those pipes are now hard to find, or cost a pretty penny? I really like how those sidepipes look on that nova

bill(dreaming about putting on a set of sidepipes on the rusty 69 Nogo )

Item #17 shows Inglewood Indy style tires; can anyone describe what these are or what they look like?

Those are "mid year" (1965-67) Corvette sidepipes.

As for the Inglewood tires, they were just high-performance belted tires, I think. The photos of Joel Rosen's personal '68 Phase III Camaro show it with L60x15 Inglewoods on 8-inch mags out back. I think I posted photos of that car here---elsewhere under the Motion heading. See attached photo.
