I have an article on one -70 LS-6 Monte Carlo. In the article they state that less then ten were built. How do we know that any were built ? Is there an official record of this ?

Years ago I belonged to a club called "Super Chevys Limited" and I recall there being a goldish bronze LS6 Monte in one of the issues that they distributed.

In 1985 I found a 6500 red line tack and gauges from a monti Carlo that the fellow was parting out. He told me it was a 4 speed and the dials were green.I did not pursue the other details nor did I go to see the car. My friend who owns a 1970 chevelle still today has the gages in his car.
It must of been a high horse 454 car.Oh yes My friend paid 25.00 Canadian for it.
