Default 02 ZL1 owners and the Harrell......

Would you have waited if you had known GMMG was going to come out with another 02 model? I have no hard feelings and would still have preferred the ZL1 but I just wonder what other owners thoughts are on this. BTW - I was undecided about upping the HP on my 427 C5R but this new "bestest and fastestt of the best and fast" has helped me to dedide to go with a procharger, solid roller, battery to the rear (16v), elec. water pump and Afco front shocks. Fastest 02 GMMG my arse!

And don't panic, I'll keep ALL the original parts including the LS6 motor.

I'm going to LWA in a few hours. I'll post some pics if there is anything new....like a procharger, water pump etc.

The C5R 427 is a blast the way it is. If you are gonna drive it on the street a bunch I would leave it alone and not put the pro charger on.

LWA and a couple magazines want to do a photo shoot on the track. We all want dyno numbers and track results as opposed to cyber speculation. Trust me, I will not be driving that beast on the track. Besides, all this "chatter" about the Harrell edition made me do it. It's not my fault. Damn, I sound like a politician!

[HINT] Hmm...seems like I've heard of an event where they have an indoor Supercar show AND a track rental, all rolled into one! Complete with a banquet, special guests, and all the memorabilia you'd ever care to see!

Nah, couldn't be, that would be like the perfect Supercar show... [/HINT]

Lamar always takes the week of th 4th off and heads to the beach. Saw Robbie and the F1 SC today. Robbie said that sounds like something they would like to do. I'll keep you posted.

When you get tired of waiting on Lamar and his boys, let me know, I'll build you the motor that you should have gotten with the car instead of taking it as a phase one...
Don't get me wrong if i were gonna build a 409 small block, there probally isn't anyone better in the area than LWA, but these new GenIII motors are a different ball game.

That's why I said in the above post that we will let the dyno and the track do the talking. Lamar is a genius at making power from a chevy motor and Robbie and his guys are working on LSxx everyday. They built the motor in the blk. Z06 that ran the Viper in the recent video. I will promise you this though, if I'm not happy when all is said and done I'll look you up!

BTW - my agreement with Lamaar was that he be involved and have a hand or an eye on every single phase. And so far he's done just that. The time that this project has taken is my fault, not theirs. I'm like a woman, I reserve the right to change my mind at any time!

Grudge? I got no grudes! Anyway talk to Robbie he will more than likely race it. I doubt I'll be there. I have a long standing rule about long road trips and pulling cars with grown men. I know it sounds weird, but it has served me well.

And what would he be racing, as if I don't know it's some 454 blown, juiced motor from Hell.
