Frank D buys some cool stuff on e-bay. He seems like he isn't afraid to step up to the plate to buy what he wants. I wonder what type of cool car he has that he is buying all the good parts for?

[/ QUOTE ] I've had good dealings with him. Seems like a nice guy. I believe he is restoring a '69 Camaro ZL1.

I think I'm going to spend a little more time looking at bolts guys have for sale at swap meets! Personally, I don't even think restoring a ZL1 warrants paying that kind of price but that is just my 2 cents.

[/ QUOTE ] He's got one of the two Garnet Red ZL-1s. Rare enough for good parts? He's the bane of my existence eBay-wise, but a great guy nonetheless. I've bought parts from him for my COPO car and he's got super high standards as a seller too. I bought a YJ from him and he sent me something like 12 detailed pictures...

The bolt & lock washer are standard hardware. Nut is obviously special, but I would think any competent machine shop could whip up a bunch of 'em for $900....

A NOS gasket set as well? Why would you want to use old gaskets when rebuilding an engine? What would be the point...
