Just got my hands on a set (+1) of Pontiac Rallye IIs to use for my 68 clone project. Problem is, they are all KY rims which are 5" offsets for the full size cars not 4.75" for the Firebirds. Anyone have any thoughts on whether these will still work for my Camaro? Oh, by the way they are 15 x 6 rims.

If those wheels are for a big Pontiac they should be a 5" bolt circle. 5" bolt circle will not work on a Firebird's 4 3/4" bolt circle. The wheels look alike though.

Thanks, now I guess I have to find someone who has a set of 4.75s they want to trade for these 5" ones. As always, appreciate the help.

One other question-- I have located some HW rallye IIs that I can swap my KYs for. The HW is for a second gen Firebird and is 15 x 7 (but still 5 x 4.75)--will these work on my Camaro?

Yes, as long as the bolt circle is 5 on 4.75, any factory GM wheel will fit it, you shouldn't have any trouble with a 15x7.

Tire suggestions? I guess the local GoodYear dealer should be able to tell me that, but what have others used?
