Default Another winter project.

And to think I had a juicy turkey for Xmas dinner on this table about 2 weeks ago.

The top of my motor was not original. 70's angle plug heads, Edelbrock Torker intake manifold, wrong water pump and a set of 20 year old rusty headers. In addition to that I had some blue smoke under load. Did a compression check and found 2 adjacent cylinders with low compression. Should be a head gasket problem or valve. I hope.

As for the new stuff. The heads are original 186 castings. I have been sitting on an original 472 intake for years. Same with the water pump. Just need to pick up a set of SuperComp headers.
