Default BJ: Beyond the valley of the lunatics

"Ferrari Dude" just bought that Oldsmobile show car for $3,000,000. From $2,000,000 to the final bid he was bidding against himself. No other bidders, no other phone bidders. There should be a law against that kind of bait and switch. Watch, the car will be back next year and sell for $150,000. It looks like they found a new "Yellow Jacket Man". Oh, wait, he just spent $500,000 for $150,000 worth of Corvettes.

I saw them too. I think Steve was holding Charley's arm down so he wouldn't bid on the Olds!

Everything since that Olds concept car has gone for more than it should so sellers tonight will be happy.

njsteve - why would he bid up his own price? What is a yellow jacket man? And why would that car be back next year for $150k?

That's the same yellow jacket guy who bought the DY '69 Z last year for 120-ish. The commentators said he sold several Camaros at B-J yesterday.

$505K for the Boyd car? Man, these people have really lost their minds. The Olds is supposedly going into that museum in Col so I doubt it will ever be sold again. The insanity continues...
