I recently purchased a 1969 Chevelle sold at DE NOOYER BROTHERS CO. 350 W. Michigan Ave, Battle Creek Michigan
The sales Manager was :Roger Gey The salesman: Steimerhoff(?) The original owner is Clyde Jensen 6956(?) S Moody, Oak Lawn, IL Then I have some paperwork on Master Chevrolet with a phone number and no address 732-8222. Did either of these dealers sell Super Cars or COPOs? |

STEFANO,
Denooyer Chevrolet is still in business in two locations. One in Michigan and one in Albany NY. They are a family owned dealer and I am sure they could answer any questions themselves. I don't have the phone numbers, but you could log onto GMBUYPOWER.COM. Good luck |

Thanks,
I did get a hold of the Mother of the original owner. She still lives at the same address in Oak Lawn and said that she would forward my phone number to her son, who now lives in North Carolina. She confirmed that it was her sons first new car. I have some questions as to why there were no SS emblems or badges on the Fenders (vintage pictures) and what the 4 2 7 written on the side cowl behind the fenders might refer to |

That would be the sequence number that matches the build sheet. You do have the build sheet, right?

Kurt,
The car was built November 4th week. Could it be 4th week 27th day Yes, the car has a build/ broad cast sheet found under the passenger side seat bun, like none I have ever seen and the sequence number is 4 digits none are 4, 2, or 7 |

So it's not a COPO by the build sheet?
427 (if not the engine size) could be the rotation / sequence # for Fisher. Wouldn't be on the build sheet.

Kurt,
The build/broadcast sheet found with the car does not list the cars options, but unfortunately it does not look to be a long lost COPO Car, just an L78. I guess 427 was just the rotation number you mention |
