Car Craft feature car ?

On my way home with the Super T-10 in the back of my car, I had to stop by Claes and kick his Hemi-car tires. He showed me this original 440+6 hood that had been cut up and had this scoop on it. He bought it on E-bay recently.

Do you know if the car with this hood was featured in Car Craft, and if so, what year ?

I posted a pic last summer of this August -69 built Hemi Challenger. Documented by buildsheet,fendertag,original engine, and history. And that´s a factory T/A hood on it. Claes likes Hemi´s !

Question on the Hemi Challenger: Was your friend's car delivered with the T/A hood painted the same color as the body? I thought all T/A hoods were flat black in color?

The only 2 documented T/A hooded Hemi-Challengers were both built in May and June of 1970. Right after the spring run of T/A's built. I don't believe the T/A hood was around much before that. Certainly not in late 69. I doubt that car left the factory with a T/A hood. If it did, it should have code N94 on the build Sheet. They only left the factory in black. Patrick

Sorry ! I just meant that it has a factory made T/A hood as opposed to aftermarket made T/A hood. This car has shaker hood codes on the fendertag.

Does anyone remember the car with the "Car Craft" script on the hood ?
