Default 1972 Nova SS350 Horse Power Qustion

We just picked up a very nice, clean 1972 Nova SS350. It has an M-20, rubber floor mats, steel wheels and dog dish caps. Full owner history, building sheet and some other dealer goodies.

While looking in Chevrolet By the Numbers, it notes the 1972 Nova SS350 has 175 hp. But other sources tell me the hp rating was 220. What are some good Nova sites where I can find this information? Thanks very much!

Will post some pictures when we pick her up.

-Dan

The M20 denotes a 4 speed which will be a Saginaw not the muncie version. Good find! Is this the silver one from EBaY?

Nice car, well done by you! Did you read the thread on Steve's site where we were talking about it?

Yes I did Marlin. Thank you!
The paint issues are very much topical.
No pannels will need to be replaced.
Should make a for a nice keeper.
We've been looking for a Nova for a long while now
