Default Paint code production numbers

At the Nova Nats. a few guys told me in 66 the Mist Blue paint color was a very rare combination with the SS package on the Chevy II's. My car is a paint numbers matching SS car as spelled out on it's tag. Where could I find the production numbers for the paint codes on the 66 Chevy II's to see if this is really the case? Thanks, Tom

Sounds like their personal opinion.
I've never heard about any Chevrolet/Fisher Body Paint production totals being kept, found or released?

I agree. Don't know of any prod#s of car colors on Chevys.I expect they may be right, but only from observation, not prod #s.

Thank You mr70 and schonyenko for the response. I really have no idea or reason to find out the rarity(or nonrarity) of this situation. A couple guys said it and I don't care either way. To me it's just an awesome cruise and it's my dream car come true.

Production totals on colors does not exist.
This is as close as it gets: Camaro colors

Kurt, is anyone planning to revise the Camaro color chart figures? The one shown in your link dates from August 2001, four years ago -- I'm sure you must have a mountain more statistical data to incorporate.

I'm the person who generated that.
Didn't change much at all from the first to the second revisions (about 2 years). I'll redo it, but it's on the back burner.
