72 Z 28 distributor needed

I need a dist for a 72 Z-28...late 71 date. any help would be appreciated.

Have you tried a company called Dated Components? They currently have a 71-72 Z28 distributor, casting #1112049. No date code mentioned, but worth a try.

thanks for the lead..no luck. I guess it's going to be a tough one, he said he's only seen one other 72 Z dist...ouch. I'm not smart enough to stop looking so soon. here's the # he says to look for

What month are you looking for Jeff, and what is the engine's assembly date?

the motor was built Nov 71...car dec 71
