Default 67 Camaro Roof

I am going to buy my roof this weekend and am asking for any informative ideas. I have never done a roof before so i am asking what areas do i need to worry about? I am cutting the whole roof off inside and out from the dash to the trunk. Thanks

I did one roof clip, everyone should do at least one in there life ...in my limited body shop training the trick is to find something as a jig that you can lay out and duplicate on both clips tape measure wont work it has to be a solid something that wont change, I used a large Square and something else, cant recall what it was but it was hanging on the wall in the shop,

on a Camaro I would strip both tops and go for the factory joints and due whatever it takes to undue them and transfer it over, go slow and it will turn out fine its not rocket science just a PITA job.

Bud.

You should bolt / weld up some angle iron across the interior of the body so the car doesn't warp out of shape when you pop the top. Did you take the doors off? You should put something across the top of the door opening too.

Anyone in the Fort Worth area that might be able to shed some light on a roof job?
