Default RS COPO from 1971

I'm finally getting around to posting some old pics of my car. I got these from the second owner. I think he said these were from 1971 shortly after he got it.

Think the studded snow tires gave it any better traction?

I was also wanting to see if anyone recognized the car from
KilKare or Edgewater dragstrips, around the early 70's.

Hopefully it will be restored back to this condition soon.

Later,
Eric

I THOUGHT LV'S COPO WAS THE ONLY ONE IN THAT COLOR. IS THAT THE SAME CAR?

Definitely not LV's car, looks like there was another Azure COPO prowling the streets in the Northeast! If its indeed a code 55 paint car, its the only other one I have ever seen or heard of. Car looks very similarly equipped, vinyl top, RS package... would be interesting to compare the sequence numbers on the 2...got any more pics?

Old photo, the car is Lemans blue. Another loaded Frost Chevrolet RS Copo! Great picture! Its a good thing you never sold that 12 bolt from that car years ago! Good thing the buyer was looking for a BV not some "wrong" BE! I look forward to seeing this one done, along with the black RS Copo from Frost.

You are right Mark. I would still be kicking myself, if I had back-halfed the car like I had first planned.
I guess that running short on project funds does have a good side, once in a while.
I will post picture updates once the resto get under way.

The car is:
ST69 12437 NOR111140 BDY
TR 712 71 B PNT
09A X11D80

I was going to say LeMans since I photocopied all of Marks stuff when I was at his shop one day.
