I didnt know if this is the right area to post this in but if not please move it. I have found a 69 Nova That the guy claims is an original 69 SS 427 Nova. The original motor is long gone and the car is pretty cut up but is there anyway from just the VIN to tell if it would be or not. Whats the value of the car even though the motor/tranny is gone?
Thanks Andy

Andy,
The Gibb COPO Chevy IIs were '68 models. Not to say it's impossible for it to be a Gibb car, but just not likely. If it is, in fact, an 'SS 427',................. your phone should be ringing constantly by now! ![]() Good Luck! ![]()

I would guess its a 69 with 2 427 emblems on it. I wish it was a true car and I could afford to buy it. Andy
