Was that the shop that was next door to TRACO on Jefferson Blvd in Culver City? Great pictures.

James Garner's AIR built other race cars as well.

Who knows what else they built?

Very cool pictures; do you suppose that these cars could have been the inspiration for the Phase III GT's paint scheme? I definately see a similarity.

I'd say that's very possible.

That is pretty cool ...thanks for posting. I knew he had some racing but never knew it was to that extent.

Wonder why Jimmy Rockford drove a Firebird instead of Vette or Camaro with that type of background?

I think Fred is asking another cool question (that he has the answer to)!

I'll take a wild guess and say the Mustang that was used in Bullitt..

------Dont know about the rest of you but I would like to track down Bob Wingates 68 L89 Vette pictured here. That looks like a bad ride and I love the color and stripes (appears to be white and lemans blue). Since Wingates 67 that Radke owns today (I think) had so many specially done features one can only wonder what was done to the 68. I can see what appear to be Americans and Goodyears!!!...........Bill S
