Default Mopar supercar

Hi guys. I'm looking for info on an old Mopar. A friend of mine's dad has a Hemi dart drag car (I'm not sure on the year) and I'm trying to find info on it.

Is it an original '68 Hemi Super Stocker or one someone put a Hemi in? ~ Pete

I'm not sure, I didn't want to bother him and ask because my friend isn't living there right now, so I thought I'd bother you guys,
I remember it having a sticker in its window saying something along the lines of not being for street use, and is sold as is. The pics I have found on the net resemble it a ton as a super stock drag car. Except this car has the dashed stipes painted on it similar to some Barracudas, and is a teal color(I haven't seen a plain painted dart drag car yet, but i'm still searching). I haven't seen anything like that on a dart (its truly the most beautiful car i've ever seen).

If there's any chance this thing's real you'd better bother him now....and RUN!!!

If he's not there and you can look but not touch, look for the little van seats, straps to hold the windows instead of regulators, no undercoating....lots more, here's a link that may help. ~ Pete

Start w/ getting the vin number from off the left side of the dash, can be seen through the winsshield. Under the hood on the left side of the inner fender will be a tag with a bunch of codes on it that will be needed to further identify it.

The original 68 Factory/Hurst Hemi cars had a similar disclaimer on the 'A' pillar. If its not there, I would doubt the car without further factory documentation and/or the original fender tags.

I asked and he said it was a clone.
Still the nicest car I've seen.
