Default Curt Gowdy Died

...at the age of 86 from Luekemia.
A real american icon to me as I grew up.
Nearly every single Sporting feat w/in the last 50 years,has a memorable narrative sound clip from him.You always recognized his distinct relaxed Wyoming voice.
I also liked his hosting of ABC Sports,"The American Sportsman" featuring some weekly celebrity on a Hunting Trip.Some of those were classic.
I'll miss him.

------Curt lived in my Moms neighborhood when I was a young squirt. Used to mess around with his kids. Buddy of mine dated his daughter. He was a class act not only in his professional life, but his homelife as well.......Bill S
