Default Waysneville MO

Anybody from that part of the state? My dad served at Fort Leonard Wood in 1941-42. He likes taking pictures, so I thought I'd share these two.

Still there, located in the Waynesville/St. Robert area. A couple of hours West of St. Louis on I-44. Within a couple of hours of here as well.

Dennis Davis, the member with the Maroon '65 396/425 Belair that was a "Members Ride" a few weeks ago, asked me to post this for him. The station belonged to a family member, and the picture was taken in 1942.
The building is in Westerville, OH. (NE Columbus) and is still there today.

Most people only know me as an accountant, and are quite surprised when they learn of my car hobby. Well, it's in the genes Here is a pic of my grandfather in front of his wheel alignment shop, my uncle is the little guy! My father worked in the shop when he was old enough, and through his college years. I never really met my grandfather, so I sort of hang onto this pic

BTW: Pic was taken in Valley View, PA - just a wide spot in the road - on Oct. 15, 1951.
