Hello! My 1st post here, I wandered over here from Team Chevelle. A friend of mine is exploring the possibility that a Vega he found may be a Yenko car. I am trying to find any info to help him verify if it is or is not, but the info seems to be almost non-existant. I couldn't even find a post about a Vega when I searched the board! Anybody able to guide me in the right direction?
Thanks, Steve

Is your buddy from Lebanon, PA? Someone from that area recently posted this thread: Click Here

Wow, I wonder why that didn't come up in my search? I must have done something wrong. Yea, that is definitely the car my friend told me about, but he is a friend of one of the family members, not the one who started that post. Interesting.

Hi Marlin, how you been? We had a discussion over at Team Chevelle a long time back about a blue duece's in the Lebanon/Pine Grove area. Where exactly is this Klingers at? I'm not from Pine Grove, but I'd like to check out this yard.

Yep! That blue deuce discussion hit a dead end, then it grew legs again in MD, now it's at another dead end. That Blu-Deu went from York - Tremont - Lebanon - Manheim - Baltimore - ?? It had at least 6-8 owners by '76, the last owner in MD died, and his brothers don't know what happened to it.
Klingers is on Bird Hill Road, lots of Novas - but they are pretty picked over now. Has this gem of an L78, TH400, w/ F41 remnant in 'the wall'!

Here's an original pic from Don's estate, showing a brand new Yenko Vega that was to be used as a promotional photo at the time. Note the front chin spoiler and rear deck spoiler, as well as the black Yenko badges on the fenders.

Here's a fuzzy snapshot showing the rear end treatment.. not certain if this is the same car or not, but this one was also taken by Don Y. Note another similar emblem in the center of the tail panel, and Yenko issued dealer tag on the rear.

Neat pics, anyone know any figures on how many of these were produced?
Marlin, your in 'the wall' comment kinda confused me. So I decided I'd figure out where this place is. A friend of mine knows the area better than I do, and I asked him if he had ever heard of the place, he said yea, he's been there. He then proceeded to tell me about this 'wall' of cars, I just slumped.
