Default Rarest of the rare !

Hey all you Z/28 guys out there!

Take a look at this gem I found on eBay. It is an auction
for a complete cross-ram hemi-head 302 engine.

According to Jim Stubbins, it is only one of six known to
exist. What a piece of SHP history. Never really worked to
expectations so I heard.

p.s. See the auction link below the image.

Neat piece Be the first on your block.....

Seeing as it's Heartbeat City selling it, I'm mildly surprised that the starting bid is not considerably higher

Would this be built from heads etc. bought at Smokey's sale or one of the 2? whole motors? .

$90K for a motor that justs sits on a stand?
I can't see anybody putting this into a car, who would risk starting it?
One more mystery to ponder.

I'll take a '69 Z with the plain old DZ engine and single Holley along with the great tropic vacation!

I seem to remember reading on here that Charlie Lillard owned one of these engines at one time.
