A member of my local car club approached me the other day and said, "Hey, I saw an ad for your car in Hot Rod." Then he smiled and said it was from the May, 1978 issue. I've attached the ad.

Is that the same Tom Senter who wrote Ford flathead stuff for Rod & Custom back in the early 1970s?

Yes it is. He's in the Dry Lakes Hall of Fame with his "Ardun" racer,..and wrote about his Tirebird in Car Craft, Popular Hot Rodding, and other magazines,..thus the words in the ad, "magazine car". I've attached a picture of Tom to this post working on the Ardun with one of his dry lake racers in the background.
The car looks the same today with the same paint job mentioned in the ad, except for a rebuild of the engine, tranny, brakes, suspension, diff., cooling, electrical, etc., etc., etc. Also, I sold the minilites a couple of years ago so the car has Rallye II's.
